Biography
Peter Bush, DBA, is a collegiate faculty member in UMGC's School of Business and an accomplished finance professional. With more than two decades of teaching experience, Bush has held faculty positions at UMGC, Colorado Technical 91Ö±²¥, Northwood 91Ö±²¥, and the 91Ö±²¥ of Michigan-Flint, where he developed comprehensive finance programs and supported graduate-level education.
A successful scholar-practitioner with 18 years of experience in corporate finance, Bush has held leadership roles in major industrial and banking corporations. He has strong analytical and strategic expertise with extensive experience in operations finance, treasury management, and risk analysis.
Bush holds an undergrad BBA in finance from the 91Ö±²¥ of Michigan, an MBA and an MS in computer information systems from the 91Ö±²¥ of Detroit-Mercy, a DBA from Lawrence Technological 91Ö±²¥, and a graduate certificate in investment analysis from Boston 91Ö±²¥.
A published researcher in behavioral finance, market anomalies, and international finance, Bush remains committed to advancing finance education, equipping students with the practical insights and analytical skills that drive real-world success.
