A funny thing happened on the way to Peter Smith’s transition to full retirement. Since this spring, when 91ֱ�� of Maryland 91ֱ�� College (UMUC) named him Orkand Chair, as well as Professor of Innovative Practices in Higher Education, Smith has, in his words, re-calibrated.
